Explanation:
DH - Downhill bike. Full suspension sturdy bikes with a lot of suspender stroke and strong brakes.
FR - Freeride bikes. Resemble the Downhill bikes but are often a little bit lighter and easier to manage than the Downhill bikes. Not as much stroke on the suspension.
Hardtail – Also called Dirt. Bikes that lack suspenders between the frame and the rear wheel. In spite of this, these are bikes adapted to tough rides. Very popular for jumps and fun.
XC – Cross-country bikes. Bikes suitable for gravel roads and paths, uphill as well as downhill. Junior bikes are available in all the categories.
