July 5-11, 2010 is the dates for one of this summer’s real highlights: Åre Bike Festival, a week filled with the best two-wheeled action Åre has to offer. Many people say that Åres best time is the summer, when the mountain Åreskutan has thrown its white blanket of snow and two wheels down the mountain is the main way to get a daily dose of adrenaline.

That is what the local bike club Åre Bergscyklister live for and want to spread to more than just the lucky ones who have Åre as their home. Therefore, Åre Bergscyklister with Åreföretagarna and Åre Bike Park have created Åre Bike Festival, a week filled with fun biking, games, party and generally nice biking hangout. Simply the place and time to be if you like gravity fed biking!
