To begin with, I would like to say a big “thank you” to our local bike club “Åre Bergscyklister” who arranging this amazing week. There are obviously a number of people in the club who have worked extra hard to implement this, but "no one mentioned, no one forgotten" they say. The various events were arranged with verve and from the large number of guests who visited Åre during the week we could heard only positive response. THANKS!
I also would also like to thank our staff at Skistar / Åre Bike Park who worked very hard during the week, in everything from helping with events to maintain the bike trails and take care of lifts and safety and so on. Good work!

Åre Bike Festival is becoming a really big events and the ambitions can only be set to make 2012 even bigger. But first, we will continue to enjoy our mountain “Åreskutan” and Åre Bike Park this summer. Indeed, it is still 12 weeks left before we close in October! We also have another couple of big events during the season. First is Maxi Avalanche, August 26 - 27 and then Swedish / Nordic Cup Final in Downhill 1-2 October.
